All Reading Worksheets

I spent much of my time as an educator creating materials to effectively target essential reading skills. I spent many more years compiling and posting these materials to this website.

Here is a list of all the worksheet pages on this website. These materials are aligned to Common Core State Standards when possible, and I have included the standards on the bottom of each page to help you with your lesson planning. Being a teacher is one of the hardest jobs in the world, but it is also one of the most necessary. I hope that these materials help make your job a little bit easier and allow you to give more of your limited time and attention to your students.

This site will be very helpful with my adult education students. I have had hard times occasionally finding interesting, relevant work for my students–that seems age appropriate. Greatly appreciate the site.

This is the most amazing and user friendly website that I have ever found. Thank you for sharing this with teachers and everyone else, and you just don’t realize how much you have helped us! No one has done such a brillant job as you all have in providing the text in PDF or in a form we can adjust along with powerpoints and u-tube videos.

I looked all over the Internet to find Irony worksheets. I was even trying to find a workbook to buy, but was unsuccessful in finding one. I am glad that I finally came across your website. I was even happier when I found out that you are a teacher in Chicago. (I teach in Southern Illinois.) Therefore, I know all of your materials more than likely go along with the state standards. Thanks so much! 🙂
