Are you looking for a multiple choice quiz to evaluate how well your students understand point of view and narrator’s perspective? If so, look no further. I created this fifteen question multiple choice quiz to finish off my point of view unit. It covers first-person, second-person, third-person objective, third-person limited, and third-person omniscient modes of narration. Students must determine the narrator’s perspective based on excerpts as well as define each point of view term. I used this quiz with Scantron test documents.
I’ve included two forms of the quiz. I use multiple quiz forms to reduce the instances of students cheating and copying. Separating classes into A rows and B rows creates an additional layer of complexity, one which prevents most students from copying or sharing answers.
Point of View Quiz 2– Fifteen question multiple choice quiz assessing understanding of narrative perspective. Students identify the narrator’s view point in a variety of examples and then match definitions to point of view terms. This quiz covers first-person, second-person, and all three modes of third-person narration.
